The Kern County Sheriff's Crisis Negotiation Team will be conducting a training exercise at Cub Lake on Friday, October 10, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
If you see SWAT officers and vehicles in that area during those hours, do not be alarmed; it is just a part of their training.
