The Detective James Ciampi 5K run will take place this Sunday, October 12, 2025 starting at 9am. The run begins at the Library and ends at the main entrance to the Fairfield Recreational Complex, located at 221 Hollywood Ave.
Expect many road closures between 9am-11am extending from the Library to Big Piece Road to Long Acres Road to Fairfield Recreational Complex on Hollywood Avenue.
Officers will be at every closed road to assist motorists during this time.
All roadways will be reopened at the conclusion of the run. Please plan your morning accordingly if you live in this area and use Hollywood Avenue or Big Piece Road as travel will be disrupted.
