Newark Police will participate in Faith & Blue, an initiative aimed at facilitating safer, stronger, more just, and unified communities by establishing local partnerships among law enforcement professionals, residents, businesses, and community groups through the connections of local faith-based organizations.

• 2nd Precinct Community Service Officers T. Rich and E. Lorenzo will host a Community Barbecue and Grocery Giveaway at 4 p.m., Friday, October 10, 2025, at 129 Camden St. in Newark.

• 4th Precinct Community Service Officers T. Frye and K. Eley’s Faith & Blue event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Allen AME Church, 56 19th Ave. in Newark.

• 9th/Metro Precinct Community Service Officers K. Felder and S. Miller’s Faith & Blue event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Newark Church of Christ, 723 Clinton Ave. in Newark.
