Storm Advisory – October 12–13, 2025
The Township of Ocean Office of Emergency Management is actively monitoring a coastal storm forecasted to impact our area on Sunday, October 12th, and Monday, October 13th, 2025. This system is expected to bring coastal flooding, strong winds, and significant rainfall, with the potential for power outages.
Residents in flood-prone areas are strongly encouraged to relocate their vehicles to higher ground. For your convenience, designated parking is available at the Corliss Park Lake and Recreation Area, located on Route 532.
Please prepare for the possibility of road closures. For your safety and the safety of emergency personnel:
- Do not drive through flooded roadways
- Do not attempt to move or drive around barricades
