The Barnegat Township Police Department is closely monitoring the coastal storm expected to impact our area on October 12th and 13th. Forecasts indicate the potential for coastal flooding, strong winds, and significant rainfall.

Residents in low-lying or flood-prone areas are strongly encouraged to move vehicles to higher ground in advance of the storm. Parking will be available at the Barnegat Little League Complex, located at 1001 Barnegat Blvd N.

Please plan ahead and anticipate possible road closures. During the storm, do not drive through flooded areas or attempt to go around barricades, as doing so can place you and others at risk.

The Department will continue to monitor conditions and provide updates as additional information becomes available.
