Lowell NHP Employees:

We hope everyone is doing well and managing the difficulties of these uncertain times. Passing along a few updates and reminders.

You should receive your payroll deposit on Oct. 14 or whatever the usual date is for your bank. Please verify that you have been paid correctly for time worked through Sept. 30. You should be able to access employeeexpress.gov from a personal device and see your Earnings & Leave Statement. Let your supervisor know if you notice errors or have questions. Thank you to Jessy for her time, attention to detail, and commitment in making payroll adjustments after we received new coding instructions late last week.
 
Reminder that the Employee Assistance Program is available free of cost 24/7. EAP provides financial consulting and other services. Call 1-800-869-0276 or https://care.espyr.com/ (Use Organization ID: interioreap).
 
DOI has provided a memo to assist employees in obtaining leniency with creditors during the lapse in appropriations.  You may share this memo with landlords, banks, or other creditors to help explain the temporary delay in pay. Check your email or get in touch with your supervisor for a copy.
 
Many thanks to Rich, Karter, Carlos, and Traci for continuing to monitor the park on a daily basis for the purposes of safety and protecting life and property. In addition, Carlos and Ryan are supporting special events at other parks and Kevin is deployed to a fire. Also thank you to David Lieb for his ongoing management of the Bundle contract. We also appreciate the assistance that Kim, Cary, Emily D, and Clara provided over the past week.
