September 28th
Identity Theft- 9950 San Pablo Ave(Chase Bank):
At 6:55 PM, an officer reports an unknown suspect accessed the victim’s account and stole money.
Theft- 11565 San Pablo Ave (Walgreens):
At 8:55 PM, an officer reports an unknown suspect stole the victim’s property that was left in front of a business.
September 29th
Driving Under the Influence- San Pablo Ave / Cutting Blvd:
At 2:11 AM, an officer contacted the driver of a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway and arrested them for driving under the influence. The driver was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department, issued a citation, and released to a sober relative.
Driving Under the Influence- San Pablo Ave / Conlon Ave:
At 8:05 PM, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the driver for suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver was arrested and transported to the El Cerrito Police Department for booking. The driver was issued a citation and released to a sober friend.
September 30th
Petty Theft – 300 Block Carmel Ave
At 2:25 PM, the victim reports their license plate was stolen.
Warrant Arrest – Ashbury Ave / Eureka Ave
At 2:50 PM, a subject was arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant, then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Vandalism – 2000 Block of Junction Ave
At 8:32 PM, the victim reports their vehicles window was smashed.
October 1st
Stolen Vehicle – 7400 Block of Stockton Ave
At 7:57 AM, the victim reports their vehicle was stolen.
Battery – 9937 San Pablo Ave (Llama Bar)
At 9:37 AM, the victim reports they were battered the night before.
Petty Theft – 10636 San Pablo Ave (24hr Fitness)
At 9:40 AM, the victim reported their license plate was stolen.
October 2nd
Driving Under the Influence – Carlson Blvd / Lassen Street
At 2:10 AM, an officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and arrested the driver for suspicion of driving under the influence. The driver was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department then issued a citation and released to a sober friend.
Court Order Violation – 500 Block of Albemarle St
At 7:52 AM, the victim reports a restrained party was on their property. The subject was arrested and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Public Intoxication – 10000 Block Of San Pablo Ave
At 10:55 PM, a subject was found intoxicated in public. They were placed under arrest and transported to Martinez Detention Facility.
October 3rd
Grand Theft / Theft with Priors – 6000 El Cerrito Plaza (Marshall’s):
At 2:30 PM, an officer arrested a suspect for shoplifting merchandise.
Grand Theft – 11700 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 4:30 PM, an officer reports the victim was scammed out of cash.
Stolen Vehicle- 1400 Block of Liberty St:
At 11:21 PM, an officer reports an unknown suspect stole the victim’s motorcycle.
October 4th
Driving Under the Influence- San Pablo Ave / Peerless Ave (Jack In The Box):
At 3:48 AM, officers were dispatched to the Jack In The Box drive through for a driver who was passed out behind the wheel of the vehicle. Officers contacted the driver and determined they were under the influence. The driver was transported to the El Cerrito Police Department for booking. After booking, the driver was issued a citation and released to a sober friend.
Resist Officer / Traffic Violations – San Pablo Ave / Cutting Blvd:
At 1:50 PM, an officer arrested a suspect who refused to give his name and attempted to walk away from a pedestrian stop in an effort to avoid a citation for traffic violations. The subject was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
Warrant Arrest - San Pablo Ave / Cutting Blvd:
At 8:51 PM, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and discovered the subject had an outstanding warrant. The subject was taken into custody and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
