On October 10, 2025, the Simi Valley Police Department with the assistance of the Los Angeles Police Department Metro Division arrested Hilario Mejia-Vasquez (46yo), Roger Hernandez (39yo), Alejandro Arenas (27yo), and a 17-year-old male juvenile for a residential burglary that occurred in Simi Valley around noon. During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, Detectives were able to recover over $30,000 in cash, over $80,000 in watches, and an unknown value of miscellaneous jewelry.

The four males were identified as Columbian Nationals who have been residing in the Los Angeles County area for an unknown period of time. The three adult males will be booked for Burglary and Conspiracy at Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility, and the juvenile male was lodged for Burglary and Conspiracy at Ventura County Juvenile Hall.
