...HIGH WIND WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 AM
AKDT SUNDAY...
* WHAT...South to southwest winds 45 to 65 mph with gusts of 75 to
85 mph expected.
* WHERE...Pribilof Islands.
* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 2 AM AKDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and
cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The extratropical remnants of Typhoon Halong
will move north into the Bering Sea and rapidly intensify as the
center moves west of the Pribilof Islands tonight. The strongest
winds are expected between 8pm and Midnight this evening. Winds
will then slowly diminish overnight through Sunday morning.
