* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and northern California, including the following counties, in central California, northwestern San Benito. In northern California, southeastern Alameda and eastern Santa Clara.

* WHEN...Until 1000 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 705 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... San Jose, Gilroy, Morgan Hill, Mt. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
