Winter Storm Warning until 06:00AM Thursday 
...WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE RUBY MOUNTAINS AND EAST HUMBOLDT RANGE... .A storm system will impact Northern and Central Nevada this afternoon through Wednesday night, resulting in periods of heavy snow in the Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range. The majority of this snow will fall tonight.
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations 10 to 15 inches.
* WHERE...Ruby Mountains and East Humboldt Range in Elko County.
* WHEN...From 5 PM PDT this afternoon until 5 AM PDT Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Winds will gust as high as 50 mph on exposed ridgetops and near the crest. Travel will be extremely difficult or nearly impossible. Snow covered roads are expected on State Route 229 through Secret Pass, up to Lamoille Canyon, and across Harrison Pass in the southern end of the Ruby Mountains.
* AFFECTED AREAS: RUBY MOUNTAINS AND EAST HUMBOLDT RANGE
