Incident #2025-21834 -  Shoplifting
Date/Time:  August 25, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Location:  Lowe’s, 3504 US Route 1
Reporting Officer:  Ptl. Anthony Petracca #5127

Suspect:  White male, 50–60’s, average build, wearing a white Yankees ballcap, white long-sleeved shirt, light blue jeans, and brown boots.

Details:  Patrol responded to Lowe’s regarding a past-tense shoplifting report. Surveillance footage showed the suspect enter the store, select two Craftsman 12-inch chainsaw kits, and exit without paying.


Incident #2025-21835 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  August 26, 2025 at 5:41 PM
Location:  Lowe’s, 3504 US Route 1

Suspect: Hispanic male, 30–40’s, athletic build, wearing a white trucker’s hat, black t-shirt with “LBK” lettering, red/black shorts, and black sneakers.

Details:  Patrol responded to Lowe’s regarding a past-tense shoplifting report. Surveillance footage showed the suspect select two Skil blower/trimmer combos and a package of paper towels before leaving the store without paying.

 
Incident #2025-21938 - Driving While Intoxicated
Date/Time:  September 3, 2025 at 12:07 AM
Location:  US Route 1 near Quakerbridge Road

Arrested: Luis Saavedra Garcia, Plainsboro, NJ

Details:  While on patrol, officers observed a vehicle swerving on US Route 1.  A motor vehicle stop was conducted, and Garcia was found to exhibit signs of intoxication.  He failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.  He was transported to police headquarters for processing and later released to a responsible party with summonses.


Incident #2025-22215 - Theft
Date/Time:  September 5, 2025 at 12:53 PM
Location:  Washington Road (construction site)

Details:  Patrol met with a project manager from an electrical company who reported that large amounts of electrical equipment had gone missing from a construction site over an extended period of time. The thefts are believed to have occurred gradually over the past year and a half. The matter remains under investigation.


Incident #2025-22246 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 5, 2025 at 3:42 PM
Location:  Best Buy, 251 Nassau Park Boulevard

Suspects:  1)  Black female, average/medium build, long black and brown braided hair, wearing a black t-shirt, blue yoga pants, and white sandals.
                   2)  Black male, average build, short black hair, wearing a white t-shirt, tan pants, and white sneakers.

Details:  Two suspects entered Best Buy, selected ten Lenovo Chromebooks, and exited the store without paying. They fled in an older model gray Honda Accord bearing a NJ registration. The investigation is ongoing.


Incident #2025-22316 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 6, 2025 at 11:38 AM
Location:  Gap, 3535 US Route 1

Suspect:  Black female, approximately 40–50 years old, wearing a denim dress and Converse sneakers, with a large birthmark on her right eye.

Details:  The suspect was observed concealing men’s sweatshirts in a store shopping bag and leaving the store without paying.  She returned shortly afterward claiming to have lost her cellphone, which was recovered inside the store.  The merchandise was not recovered.


Incident #2025-22689 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 4, 2025 at 6:00 PM 
Location:  Marshalls, 3495 US Route 1

Suspects:  1)  Female, approximately 5’06”, 200 lbs., wearing a gray top, black pajama pants with white dots, and white sandals.
                    2)  Black female, approximately 5’04”, 180 lbs., wearing white pants, green top, Playboy bunny sandals, and a blue headscarf covering most of her face.

Details:  The suspects concealed clothing in a hamper and inside their clothing before leaving the store without paying. Merchandise valued at approximately $388 was taken.


Incident #2025-22964 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 12, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Location:  Wegmans, 240 Nassau Park Boulevard

Arrested:  William P. Henderson, Trenton, NJ

Details:  While working a security detail, an officer detained Henderson after he concealed merchandise and exited the store without paying.  Henderson was arrested for shoplifting, and all merchandise was recovered.  Through investigative means, it was determined that Henderson also had multiple outstanding warrants from Princeton and Hamilton.  He was processed at headquarters and later turned over to Princeton Police. 


Incident #2025-22888 - Driving While Intoxicated
Date/Time:  September 12, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Location:  Quakerbridge Road overpass of US Route 1

Arrested: Katherine R. Carruthers, Conshohocken, PA

Details:  Carruthers was located in a vehicle that had struck the center median on Quakerbridge Road.  Officers observed signs of impairment, and she failed field sobriety tests.  She was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.  A search of her vehicle revealed an open container of alcohol.  She was processed at headquarters and later released to a responsible adult.


Incident #2025-23194 - Harassment
Date/Time:  September 15, 2025 at 9:20 AM
Location:  Weichert Realtors, 53 Princeton Hightstown Road
Reporting Officer:  Ptl. Anthony Petracca #5127

Details:  Patrol responded on a report of harassment.  Human feces were found on the sidewalk leading to the business entrance.  The business has experienced similar incidents in the past.  The investigation is ongoing.


Incident #2025-23374 - Criminal Mischief
Date/Time:  September 16, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Location:  Windsor Woods Apartments, 465 Meadow Road
Reporting Officer:  Ptl. Kyle Rudin #5125

Details:  Patrol responded to a report of suspicious activity.  The victim discovered his work van had been struck multiple times with plastic ball bearings, causing damage to the driver’s side door, window, and panels.  Several airsoft pellets were located on the ground near the vehicle.  Investigation revealed that the damage was caused by a juvenile resident.  The juvenile was charged.


Incident 2025-23410 - Criminal Mischief
Date/Time:  September 17, 2025 at 7:17 AM
Location:  Windsor Woods Apartments, 465 Meadow Road

Details:  The victim reported additional damage to two of his work vans overnight.  Damage included broken mirrors, taillights, and multiple dents.  Airsoft pellets were again found on the ground near the vehicles.  This incident was believed to be connected to the report made the previous day.  Investigation revealed the two incidents were related and the same juvenile was charged.

 
Incident #2025-23675 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 19, 2025 at 4:35 PM
Location:  Target, 500 Nassau Park Blvd.

Details:  Patrol was dispatched to Target for a report of a shoplifting that had just occurred.  The suspect, described as a heavy-set white male with a beard, mustache, and black hair, wearing a black t-shirt and shorts, exited the store without paying for merchandise and fled in a black Jeep Grand Cherokee toward Quakerbridge Road.  Through investigative means, it was determined that the same suspect has been involved in previous shoplifting incidents at the store.


Incident #2025-23818 - Robbery
Date/Time:  September 21, 2025 at 1:53 PM
Location:  Area of 12 Roszel Road

Details:  Patrol responded to the area of Roszel Road and Alexander Road for a report of a robbery.  The victim reported that earlier in the day, while at a bus stop in Summit, NJ, he was approached by a male suspect who offered him temporary work and drove him to West Windsor.  Once on Roszel Road, the suspect demanded the victim’s money, grabbed him by the neck, and fled after taking approximately $80.  The suspect was described as a tall, thin Pakistani male with a beard operating an older model black Honda sedan.  The investigation was turned over to detectives for follow-up.

 
Incident #2025-23788 Driving While Intoxicated
Date/Time:  September 21, 2025 at 4:37 AM
Location:  U.S. Route 1 South and Emmons Drive

Arrested:  Martha A. Arzayus (Jobstown, NJ)

Details:  Patrol responded to a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles.  During the on-scene investigation, officers detected signs of intoxication from driver Martha Arzayus, who failed field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI.  Arzayus was transported to police headquarters, where she refused to provide breath samples and was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses, including DWI and refusal.  She was released to a responsible party pending a future court date.


Incident #2025-24136 Lewdness
Date/Time:  September 24, 2025 at 3:30 PM
Location:  Princeton Junction Train Station

Details:  Patrol responded to the Princeton Junction Train Station on the report of a lewdness incident.  The victim reported that upon exiting the southernmost tunnel on the southbound side of the tracks, she observed a black male exposing himself.  The suspect was described as being in his late teens to early twenties, approximately six feet tall with a medium build, a medium-length afro, and wearing a dark maroon sweatshirt and black pants.  A check of the area yielded negative results.  Through a review of train station surveillance footage, a male matching the suspect’s description was observed moving between both tunnels and later boarding a northbound train. The investigation is ongoing.


Incident #2025-24247 - Theft by Unlawful Taking / Criminal Mischief 
Date/Time:  September 25, 2025 at 12:23 PM
Location:  Princeton Junction Train Station

Arrested: Emilio Borque (North Brunswick, NJ)

Details:  Patrol responded to the Princeton Junction Train Station for a report of a male using a large pole to break a lock on a bicycle near a bike rack.  Upon arrival, officers located a male matching the description, identified as Emilio Borque, who was in possession of a silver Huffy bicycle.  Through investigative means, it was determined that Borque matched the individual seen on surveillance footage breaking a cable lock and taking the bike.  Borque was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where he was charged with Criminal Mischief and Theft by Unlawful Taking.  He was processed and released pending a future court date.


Incident #2025-24319 - Shoplifting /  Theft by Deception
Date/Time:  September 26, 2025 at 8:50 AM
Location:  Lowe’s, 3504 Brunswick Pike

Accused:  1)  Javier Flores (Trenton, NJ)
                  2)  Mario Flores (Trenton, NJ)

Details:  Patrol responded to Lowe’s for a report of two past shoplifting incidents.  Investigation revealed that on September 16, 2025, two suspects, later identified as Javier and Mario Flores, entered the store and committed separate thefts.  Javier Flores was observed leaving the store with unpaid merchandise valued at approximately $646, while Mario Flores conducted a fraudulent return and received $124 in cash.  Through investigative means, both suspects were identified based on prior incidents and surveillance footage.  Complaint summonses were issued for Shoplifting against Javier Flores and Theft by Deception against Mario Flores, with court dates scheduled in October. 


Incident #2025-24320 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 18, 2025 at 4:52 PM
Location:  Lowe’s, 3504 Brunswick Pike

Details:  Patrol responded to Lowe’s for a report of two past shoplifting incidents involving suspects from a related investigation (case #2025-24319).  Upon arrival, officers learned that on September 18, two Hispanic males arrived in a Ford F-150 and entered the store through the lumber entrance.  Both suspects loaded merchandise into shopping carts.  The first suspect exited through the main doors without paying, while the second suspect falsely claimed he was completing a return and also left without payment.

 
Incident #2025-24323 - Burglary to Motor Vehicles
Date/Time:  September 26, 2025 at 9:11 AM
Location:  Sequoia Court

Details:  Patrol responded to Sequoia Court for a report of a vehicle burglary.  The victim reported that sometime overnight between September 25 and September 26, unknown suspects entered multiple unsecured vehicles in the area.  Contents of glove compartments were disturbed, but nothing appeared to be stolen.  Additional residents reported similar incidents, and at least one other vehicle burglary was confirmed under a related case number.  There were no signs of forced entry or evidence recovered at the scene.


Incident #2025-24361 - Motor Vehicle Theft
Date/Time:  September 26, 2025 at 3:28 PM
Location:  Gateway of India, 217 Clarksville Road
Reporting Officer:  Ptl. Alison Pollini #599

Arrested:  Daniel R. Schiffman (West Windsor, NJ)

Details:  Patrol was dispatched to Gateway of India for a report of a stolen vehicle.  The victim stated he had parked his Range Rover in front of the store, leaving it unlocked with the keys inside while briefly entering the business.  Moments later, he observed a male enter the vehicle and drive off toward Clarksville Road.  The victim attempted to intervene but was unsuccessful.  Through video surveillance obtained from a nearby business, officers observed a light-skinned male with a beard and blue hoodie enter and drive away in the Range Rover.  The vehicle was later located in Princeton, where officers from the Princeton Police Department apprehended the suspect, identified as Daniel Schiffman of West Windsor.  Schiffman was transported back to police headquarters, charged with Motor Vehicle Theft, and lodged at the Mercer County Correctional Facility pending a Superior Court appearance.


Incident #2025-24367 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 26, 2025 at 5:03 PM
Location:  Target, 500 Nassau Park Blvd.
Reporting Officer:  Ptl. Alison Pollini #599

Arrested:  Rachel Koehn (Princeton, NJ)

Details:  Patrol responded to Target for a report of a shoplifter in custody.  Loss prevention staff reported that Rachel Koehn was observed concealing merchandise and attempting to purchase items at self-checkout, but her final transaction failed to process.  Koehn then attempted to exit the store without rendering payment.  After reviewing surveillance footage and speaking with store employees, officers determined that the theft was intentional.  Rachel Koehn was placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters, where she was processed and charged with Shoplifting.  She was released on a summons pending a municipal court appearance. 


Incident #2025-24541 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 29, 2025 at 10:37 AM
Location:  Lowe’s, 3504 US Highway 1

Arrested: Christopher Colon, Hamilton, NJ

Details:  On September 29, 2025, at 10:37 AM, patrol responded to Lowe’s for a reported shoplifting in progress.  The suspect, identified as Christopher Colon of Hamilton, NJ, was observed concealing multiple tools on his person and leaving the store without paying.  Through investigative means, Colon was identified as the individual involved.  He was charged with shoplifting, and a complaint summons was mailed to his last known address.  Colon was found to have two outstanding warrants out of Trenton and West Windsor.


Incident #2025-24667 - Shoplifting
Date/Time:  September 30, 2025 at 6:07 PM
Location:  Best Buy, 251 Nassau Park Boulevard

Details:  On September 30, 2025, at 6:07 PM, patrol responded to Best Buy for a past-tense shoplifting.  Store security reported that on September 27, 2025, two unidentified suspects entered the store and stole approximately $4,700 worth of Tesla EV chargers and a Breville espresso machine before leaving the store without paying.  The suspects were observed leaving in a dark-colored Jeep Wrangler bearing a fraudulent Delaware temporary registration.  The investigation is ongoing.
