The City offers a free brush pick up of leaves, tree and brush trimmings, and Christmas trees from October 15 through January 7 each year.

• Place loose yard trimmings and leaves in the street just outside the gutter- the gutter needs to remain clear for water runoff. No other waste of any kind shall be deposited among the prunings or leaves.
• No palm tree or yucca plant cuttings/leaves/branches These trimmings may be placed in your black can when cut into 2-foot lengths or shorter. DO NOT place in your green can.
• Branches should not be more than four feet long and six inches in diameter.
• No tree stumps.
• Do not bag or tie the trimmings.
• Remove stands from Christmas trees.
• No artificial trees.

It is not necessary to call City Hall to have your trimmings picked up. A Special Public Works crew will pick up the trimmings each week as they check the neighborhoods. It is not a set route, so if the yard trimmings are not picked up one week, they will be picked up the next week.  For more detailed information regarding the annual brush pick-up program, please click here.
