Garage B community meeting rescheduled

The City of Hoboken has rescheduled the virtual community meeting regarding redeveloping Garage B as a mixed-use development consistent with the adopted Garage B Redevelopment Plan for Tuesday, Oct. 21, at 6 p.m.

The mixed-use project at 28 Second St. would include a municipal parking garage of 880 parking spaces, 32,000 square feet of commercial space including ground-floor retail, and approximately 410 residential units. Of these units, 20 percent will be designated as affordable housing, with the remainder classified as workforce housing for households making up to 120 percent of median household income in the region.

Community members will have an opportunity to ask questions and comment on the proposal. No action will be taken by the Governing Body during the meeting.
