Press Release- Attempted Murder Suspect Identified and Arrested 
| On Saturday September 6th, 2025 at 0612 AM, The Corcoran Police Department was dispatched to an apartment in the 2400 block of Whitley Ave. for a report of a stabbing. Officers arrived on scene minutes later and found and adult male inside of his apartment with a stab wound to his torso. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his wounds and survived. Officers received little cooperation from the victim. An in depth investigation was conducted and the suspect was identified as Tory Dewayne Johnson (45 YOA). On Wednesday October 15th, 2025, Johnson was taken into custody in Visalia with the assistance of the Visalia Police Department. Johnson was booked into the Kings County Jail for the Attempted Murder. |
