Crime Bulletin Covering the Week of October 6-12, 2025
When I mention “the unit block” of a street, this means the incident occurred at an address anywhere between 1 and 99 of the street.
Robberies
There were two robberies during the past week.
On Tuesday, 10-07-25, at approximately 9:50 a.m., at the intersection of Palmcrest Drive and Park Plaza Drive, a victim was robbed of his gold necklace by two unknown suspects who exited the rear passenger door of a silver Toyota Prius. The victim said that one suspect brandished a firearm at him, while the second suspect demanded his gold chain. The second suspect then ripped the chain from the victim’s neck. Both suspects reentered the rear seat of the vehicle, which was driven by a third unknown suspect, and fled the area. The first two suspects were both described as Hispanic males, approximately 20-25 years old, about 5’6” tall, thin builds, wearing white hoodies with the hoods on, face masks, black jeans, and unknown colored shoes. This investigation is ongoing.
On Saturday, 10-11-25, at approximately 7:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Mission Street and Evergreen Avenue on a report of a victim who had been stabbed near the 6100 block of Mission Street. During the altercation, the victim was stabbed with a knife by the suspect and suffered multiple injuries. The suspect also took the victim’s cell phone, which was later recovered by a sergeant. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Through investigation, the suspect was identified. On Tuesday, 10-14-25, the suspect, a 28-year-old San Francisco resident, was arrested and booked into jail for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
Residential Burglaries
There was one residential burglary during the past week.
On Friday, 10-10-25, at approximately 12:57 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Mayfair Avenue on a report of a residential burglary. The victim stated that she was in the kitchen when she heard noises coming from her bedroom. Upon entering her bedroom, the victim noticed that a bag of art supplies was missing from the top of her dresser. The victim then discovered that the window screen had been ripped and removed from its tracks. When she looked outside, she saw a male and female standing directly across the street. The male was holding a bag open with both of his hands, which the victim recognized as the one missing from her dresser. Officers located the suspects at a nearby bus stop and arrested them. The bag of art supplies was found on the ground next to the bus stop bench where one of the suspects was seated. One of the suspects, a 45-year-old Hanford resident, was booked into jail for burglary and petty theft with two or more priors. The second suspect, a 29-year-old transient, was booked into jail for burglary, petty theft with two or more priors, theft or misappropriation of lost property, false personation, possession of drug paraphernalia, and outstanding warrants.

Nextdoor.com
Nextdoor.com is a free private social networking website for your neighborhood. This private network ensures that only those who live in your neighborhood can join; users must go through a verification process. Neighbors ask each other for business recommendations; help in locating missing pets; discuss relevant local government issues; or connect for other reasons. It is very easy to sign up. I like the fact that the site verifies users by addresses, and it won’t allow people to access a neighborhood if they don’t live there. Please note: The City of Daly City and/or the Police Department cannot see what residents post—we are only allowed to post information. There is also a mobile application, or you can have it sent to your e-mail. Give it a try! www.nextdoor.com
