DETAILS: On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 8:10pm, officers were called to a minor traffic crash in the 2200 block of Wolflin Ave. The caller advised she was driving a white Ford, and a red truck struck her vehicle. When officers arrived, the female in the Ford was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. While investigating this crash, they learned the driver of the red truck was Tre Galvan, male, 05/31/1992, an off-duty Amarillo Police officer and who exhibited signs of possible intoxication. Galvan was taken to an area hospital for a blood draw and then booked into the Potter County Jail for Class B DWI-1st offense. Officer Galvan will be placed on Administrative Leave until both the internal and criminal investigations are completed.
