1. Robbery (1538) 5100 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 40, was working at an area business when the suspects entered and began shoplifting merchandise. When the victim intervened, one suspect punched him, and another threatened him. The suspects fled with the merchandise. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECTS: Six Black male juveniles.
2. Robbery (1615) 4900 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
The male victim, 16, was in the listed area when the suspects approached and attempted to forcefully remove his property. The victim fought with the suspects, but they were able to take his property and fled on foot. The victim was uninjured. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults.
3. Armed Robbery (1800) 1000 Block of Waterloo Road, Park District
The male victim, 33, was working in the listed area when the suspects approached him, brandished a firearm, and demanded money. The victim complied, and the suspects fled on foot. SUSPECTS: A Black male juvenile and a White male juvenile.
4. Robbery (2050) 4600 Block of Da Vinci Drive, Lakeview District
The male victim, 49, was in the listed area when the suspect pepper-sprayed him and took his property. The victim was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: An unknown race male adult.
5. Battery on an Officer (0304) 2400 Block of East Washington Street, Park District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a battery. When officers attempted to detain the suspect, he resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. The suspect continued to resist, spat on an officer, and had to be restrained. The suspect received treatment at an area hospital for minor injuries. ARRESTED: Brian Rodriguez, 25, for resisting arrest and battery on an officer.
