Happy Diwali from the West Windsor Police Department!
May the Festival of Lights bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.
As we join our neighbors in celebrating this joyful time, please remember that aerial and exploding fireworks remain illegal in New Jersey. Only non-aerial sparkling devices such as handheld sparklers, fountains, and smoke devices are permitted, and should always be used safely and under adult supervision.
A reminder for our residents: BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville will be holding a large fireworks display on Monday, October 20, 2025, beginning around 7:30 p.m. The fireworks will likely be visible, and certainly heard, throughout parts of West Windsor.
Please take a few moments to prepare your furry family members, as the sounds can be stressful for them.
