October 17, 2025:
- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Steward Avenue for a vehicle fire. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Allison responded to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 28-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer E. Smith was dispatched to Detroit Street and Cooper Street for a warrant arrest. A 38-year-old male was lodged at JSO on multiple outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
- Officer Fitzpatrick responded to the 1700 block of South Cooper Street for a larceny report.
- Officer Fitzpatrick and Officer Elston responded to the 200 block of Rockwell Street for a breaking and entering report. The 41-year-old male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- JPD members visited the Trunk or Treat event at Salvation Army and Home of New Vision.
- Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop at Wildwood Avenue and First Street. The 52-year-old male driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Detective Brooks made contact with an individual in Ella Sharp Park. A 38-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officer Soloman made contact with a subject at West Franklin Street and South Jackson Street. A 41-year-old male was taken to the hospital.
- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of West Michigan Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 66-year-old male received a citation for disturbing the peace.
- Officer Beekel and Officer Goings responded to a hit and run traffic crash in the area of West Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue. The 69-year-old male driver was transported to the hospital. Charges will be sought on the driver for leaving the scene of an accident, and driving while intoxicated.
- Detective Klimmer responded to the 600 block of Union Steet for a domestic dispute. The 20-year-old male suspect fled the scene before Detective Klimmer arrived.
- Officer Soloman was dispatched to the 700 block of West Washington Avenue for a disorderly subject. The 44-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of South Jackson Street for a personal welfare check. A 38-year-old female was transported to the hospital.
- Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of North Elm Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 34-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault -2nd offense.
- Officer Farnsworth was dispatched to the 600 block of Jefferson Street for a domestic dispute. A 55-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated- 3rd offense.
- Officer Goings responded to the 600 Block of Page Avenue for a personal welfare check.
- Officers were dispatched to West Avenue and Wildwood Avenue for an individual struck by a vehicle. A 19-year-old female was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
- Officer E. Smith responded to the 300 block of North Gorham street for a weapons complaint.
- Officer Goings was dispatched to the 1000 block of South Thompson Street for a domestic dispute. A 38-year-old male was arrested for a personal protection order violation, conditional bond violation, and resisting and obstructing.
- Officer Vernier was dispatched to the 500 block of Page Avenue for a hit and run traffic crash. Charges will be sought on a 49-year-old male for leaving the scene of an accident.
