Officers responded to a report of a disturbance involving an intoxicated subject. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, but he resisted officers’ attempts, and officers used force to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Ricardo Negerete, 30, for resisting arrest and a warrant.
2. Resisting Arrest (1714) 700 Block of East Anderson Street, Seaport District
Officers responded to a report of the suspect in the area vandalizing property and assaulting residents. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, but she resisted, and officers used force to take her into custody. ARRESTED: a 16-year-old female juvenile for battery, resisting arrest, and vandalism.
3. Attempted Homicide (2240) 1000 Block of Rivara Road, Lakeview District
The male victim, 47, was in the listed area when the suspect approached and asked to use his phone. The victim refused, and the suspect threatened to kill him and stabbed him several times. Officers responded to the immediate area, located the suspect, and attempted to detain the suspect, who fled. Officers used force to take him into custody. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received medical treatment on scene. ARRESTED: Michael Garcia, 25, for attempted homicide charges.
