Police Seek Help Locating Missing 80-Year-Old Newark Woman Suffering from Dementia
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Maria Celeste Marques, 80, of Newark, who was reported missing by her family on Monday, October 20, 2025.
Ms. Marques, who reportedly suffers from dementia, was last seen at 5 p.m. in the 300 block of Walnut Street. She is described as Hispanic, 5-ft. tall and 120 pounds, with brown hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing eyeglasses, a light blue sweater, a brown and gray skirt, and blue and white shoes.
