The North Castle Police Department is participating with the DEA’s National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday October 25, 2025. As autumn arrives, it's the perfect time to tidy up your medicine cabinet. Expired or unused prescription medications pose a public safety risk. Dispose of your unused medications safely and anonymously at one of our two convenient drop-off locations:
1) Police Lobby – North Castle Town Hall
Hours of operation 10 am – 2pm
15 Bedford Road, Armonk NY, 10504
2) North White Plains Community Center / Library
Hours of operation 10 am – 2pm
10 Clove Road, N. White Plains, NY 10603
Contact the North Castle Police Department with questions you may have at 914-273-9500. Please help keep our families safer and our environment cleaner by dropping off expired and unwanted medications during this event.
In partnership with local law enforcement, Take Back Day has removed more than 19.8 million pounds (10,000 tons) of medication from circulation since its inception.
Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps, and illicit drugs. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container. The cap must be tightly sealed to prevent leakage.
