Deputies Investigating a Possible Vehicle Burglary, Results in a Vehicle Pursuit With a 17-year-old Juvenile and Five Adults

Jordan Anthony Johnson, 21-year-old male, Resident of Running Springs

SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at approximately 2:21 A.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service reference unknown male subjects looking into parked vehicles and checking door handles.
Deputies arrived on scene and observed the male subjects enter an S.U.V. Deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle but the driver failed to yield and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The driver of the vehicle was later found to be a 17-year-old male juvenile. The passengers of the vehicle were later identified as Maurice Curtis Wilson, Jayson Joseph Suarez, Marcellus Jaden Williams, Anthony Diaz, and Jordan Anthony Johnson. The juvenile driver refused to yield, and evaded deputies for several miles. The suspects ultimately surrendered in Riverside County.
During the investigation deputies learned the suspects burglarized several vehicles in the neighborhood, prior to the attempted traffic stop.
The male juvenile was later arrested and booked into San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall for, VC2800.2(A), Felony Evading with disregard for safety, PC182(A)(1), Conspiracy to commit a crime, and PC459, Burglary. Maurice Curtis Wilson, Jayson Joseph Suarez, Marcellus Jaden Williams, Anthony Diaz, and Jordan Anthony Johnson were booked into the West Valley Detention Center for VC2800.2(A), Felony evading with disregard for safety, PC182(A)(1), Conspiracy to commit a crime, and PC459, Burglary.
