INCIDENT: Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
LOCATION: Dale Evans Parkway / Waalew Road, Apple Valley
SUSPECT 1: Dearld Wicker, 49-year-old male resident of Apple Valley
SUSPECT 2: Timothy Poole, 58-year-old male resident of Chino
SUMMARY:
On Friday, October 17, 2025, deputies with the Apple Valley Gang Enforcement Team contacted two subjects in a vehicle near the intersection of Dale Evans Parkway and Waalew Road. One of the occupants, Dearle Wicker, was found to have a felony warrant for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
During a search of the vehicle, two loaded firearms and about three ounces of suspected methamphetamine were located. Timothy Poole, the other occupant of the vehicle, was also a convicted felon. Both Poole and Wicker were arrested without incident and booked at High Desert Detention Center for the associated charges. Poole and Wicker have since posted bond and were released from custody.
