Wilmington Police arrest man in connection to multiple burglary incidents:
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to multiple burglary incidents following an investigation.
On October 9, at approximately 2:04 p.m., and on October 19, at approximately 9:36 a.m., police responded to the 300 block of North Union Street, in reference to burglary incidents. These cases were assigned to Detective Avery Stewart of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Stewart identified 40-year-old Hector Burgos as a suspect, and obtained warrants for his arrest. On October 21, police located Burgos in the area of Elm and South Harrison Streets, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Burgos has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree) – Two Counts
- Theft Under $1,500
- Attempted Theft Under $1,500
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000
