Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges.
On October 21, at approximately 12:55 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 1700 block of West 3rd Street, when they observed a male subject engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 29-year-old Aquantay Garner, who was taken into custody without incident. Garner was found to be in possession of 27.25 grams of crack cocaine and .39 grams of heroin.
Garner has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver in Tier 3 Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in Tier 3 Quantity
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $130,000 cash-only bail.
