Activity for October 22, 2025:
- Officer Tenney was dispatched to the 1100 block of Blair Park Drive for a felonious assault report. The 14-year-old male admitted to having a knife and was lodged at the Jackson County Youth Center for felonious assault.
- Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West Ganson Street for shots fired. Casings were located in the area. A 16-year-old male was lodged at the Jackson County Youth Center for felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon. A 20-year-old male was also arrested and lodged for carrying a concealed weapon.
- Officer Jones and Officer Johnson attended the Jackson High Career fair.
- Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Bush Street for a domestic situation. A 55-year-old female was arrested for violating her conditional bond.
- Officer Frazier conducted a field contact in the 700 block of Greenwood Avenue. A 55-year-old male was arrested for violating his conditional bond.
- Officers were driving through Lions Park and observed an empty factory building on fire. The Jackson Fire Department responded and was able to put the fire out. Officers canvassed the area for witnesses.
