Special Weather Statement until 07:15AM Friday

Although lighter winds are expected tomorrow, dry conditions will return with minimum relative humidity values dropping to 20 to 30 percent. With dry fuels still in place, and in coordination with land managers, increased fire danger will return tomorrow across western North Carolina. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether you can burn tomorrow. If you do burn, use extreme caution, as fires can spread rapidly under these conditions.
