LOCATION: 13500 block of Muscatel St, Hesperia
SUSPECT(S): Garlan Layman, 53-year-old resident of Hesperia
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Hesperia Station Detective Bureau served a search warrant in the 13500 block of Muscatel Street, in Hesperia, regarding a child pornography case.
Detective Oliveros conducted an extensive investigation and identified Garlan Layman as a suspect. During the service of the search warrant, Layman was found in possession of over 1,000 images containing child pornography. Layman was arrested and booked into High Desert Detention Center for possession and distribution of child pornography. He remains in custody and is being held on $30,000 bail.
