Starting Monday, October 27, Conquest Construction will be conducting water service line testing along Raritan Avenue (State Route 27) between North 6th Avenue and the border with Edison Township. Work will be conducted during evening hours, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, as required by the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
This work is an important part of the Borough's compliance with federal and state regulations regarding lead and water service lines. Once we have the results of Conquest's testing work on Raritan Avenue, the Borough's lead service line inventory will be complete, forming the basis for implementing our service line replacement plan.
