1. Armed Robbery (1814) Whipporwill Street and Blue Grass Drive, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 30, was walking in the area when the suspect approached her. The suspect demanded the victim’s property while pointing a firearm at her. The victim gave the suspect her property, and the suspect fled. SUSPECT: Black male adult
2. Shooting into a Vehicle (2150) 700 Block of East Hammer Lane, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 31, reported the sound of gunfire in the listed area and called the police. Officers responded and found that the victim’s vehicle had been struck by gunfire. There is no suspect information.
3. Pursuit Arrest (2203) West Lane and March Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers attempted an enforcement stop on an occupied stolen vehicle. The driver failed to yield and led officers in pursuit. The pursuit ended when the vehicle was disabled, and the driver was taken into custody. ARRESTED: Chanda Ngoun, 44, for auto theft and traffic charges.
4. Resisting Arrest (0107) Airport Way and Taylor Street, Park District
Officers responded to the report of a disabled vehicle in the listed area and found the intoxicated driver passed out behind the wheel. Officers had to break the window of the vehicle and use force to arrest the driver. ARRESTED: Alexis Lopez, 21, for resisting arrest and DUI.
