Meridian Police Arrest Suspect in Robbery and Vehicle Theft Cases
Meridian, ID – The Meridian Police Department has arrested suspect Jacob KLEIN who was involved in multiple crimes that occurred over the past several days in Meridian and Boise.
On October 22, 2025, at approximately 6:20 p.m., KLEIN stole a golf cart from a juvenile victim at Settlers Park in Meridian. KLEIN used physical force to remove the victim from the cart and then produced a box cutter and a pair of scissors, threatening physical harm.
In the early morning hours of October 23, 2025, at around 5:57 a.m., KLEIN stole a black Volkswagen Jetta from a residence in the 1500 block of N. Haven Cove Avenue in Meridian.
Later that night, Boise Police attempted to stop KLEIN, who fled from officers. The stolen Jetta was later found abandoned near W. Fairview Avenue and N. Orchard Street.
On October 24, KLEIN was located in the area W Fairview Ave/N Orchard St. After a brief foot pursuit, KLEIN was taken into custody in the parking lot of, TDI Auto Sales. During the arrest, he resisted arrest before being subdued. KLEIN was transported to a local hospital for medical clearance and then booked into the Ada County Jail.
At this time, KLEIN faces charges of Robbery and Grand Theft Auto. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
