* At 851 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 12 miles northeast of Juno to 17 miles west of Loma Alta to near Seminole Canyon State Park to 18 miles west of Box Canyon, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Del Rio, Comstock, Juno, Loma Alta, Lake View, Amistad Acres, Laughlin AFB, Shumla, Carta Valley, Cienegas Terrace, Amistad Village, Black Brush Point, Seminole Canyon State Park, Box Canyon, Val Verde Park, Diablo East, Governors Landing, Long Point, Pecos River Boat Ramp, and 277 South Boat Ramp.

Instructions:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. If on or near Lake Amistad, get away from the water and move indoors or inside a vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike out to 15 miles from the parent thunderstorm. If you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Move to safe shelter now! Do not be caught on the water in a thunderstorm. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
