Conditions will be favorable for critical fire danger across much of South Central Texas. The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a Fire Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

* WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop could rapidly increase in size and intensity, move quickly, and be very difficult to control.
