Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., announces that the following streets will be closed during the hours below due to the 32nd Annual Blue Mass event to be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica, located at 89 Ridge Street, in Newark.
Beginning from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Thursday, October 30, 2025
• Clifton Avenue between Park Avenue and 7th Avenue
.• Ridge Street between Victoria Avenue and Park Avenue
• Victoria Avenue between Mt. Prospect Avenue and Ridge Street
• Branch Brook Park between Clifton Avenue and Park Avenue
The mass begins at 10 a.m.
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
