NJDOT ROUTE 130 TRAFFIC ADVISORY RE: U-TURN/LEFT TURN NEAR NEWTOWN VILLAGE 
Be advised the U-Turn/left turn median on Route 130 just north of Newtown Village has been closed.
Since Route 130 is a federal highway, the closure was directed by the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) as it falls under their jurisdiction. NJDOT has made a concerted effort to close all of the median “cut through” openings on Route 130 due to safety concerns.
The safest alternative for making a U Turn at that location is using the Robbinsville Bypass, which requires a right turn at Sharon Road, another right turn onto the Bypass and then a left onto Route 130 south.
