 NJ Department of Transportation  Rt 183 Resurfacing Project

RT 183 Off Ramp @ Exit 25 is closed. Follow the posted detour

NJDOT reports the local access to homes in affected area will be available from the open north bound lane. NJ Tropper or flagmen will let you thru.

Route 183 Resurfacing Project in the Borough of Stanhope. Beginning on or about Friday October 24th, 2025, the work will primarily involve Roadway Resurfacing and will include curb, sidewalk, radar detection systems, and drainage work. The anticipated working hours, between 8 PM to 6 AM Monday through Saturday.

Please be advised that the area may experience some traffic. Construction signs and traffic devices, such as barricades and cones, will be placed. Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution, and expect delays.
