Tonkawa Fire Department Conducting Fire Training TODAY 
The Tonkwa Fire Department will be conducting firefighter training exercises in the 300 block of N. Main Street at approximately 6:00pm. Please expect smoke in the area as this is a scenario-based training exercise. Please expect fire apparatuses, fire engines, and fire department personnel to be in the area as well. This training is for our Firefighters to better hone their skills to provide better lifesaving techniques to our community. Please do not be alarmed and please do not call 911 as the scenario based training has been fully planned by the fire department. Please detour travel from the area as to not congest Main Street. If you have any questions, you can contact the Tonkawa Fire Department. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we make our Fire Department better.
