Essex County will mill and pave Valley Street intersections in Maplewood, overnight, beginning Monday, October 27th at 7:00 pm. Work will take place each night between 7:00 pm and 6:00 am, and will conclude in Maplewood on Saturday, November 1st, at 6:00 am. After completing work in Maplewood, the overnight milling and paving will continue north on Valley Street and into South Orange, with the goal of concluding by Saturday, November 8th at 6:00 am. Throughout the project, the milling and paving work will require Valley Street closures and detours during the overnight hours; and the schedule is weather-dependent.
