LOCATION: Intersection of Hess Boulevard and Senilis Avenue, Morongo Valley
SUSPECT(S): Unknown
VICTIM(S): Christopher Garcia, 50-years-old, Resident of Morongo Valley
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 27, 2025, at approximately 7:38 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Sheriff’s Station responded to assist other department (AOD), call at the intersection of Hess Boulevard and Senilis Avenue, in Morongo Valley. CHP was initially dispatched to the location for a vehicle versus pedestrian and possible hit and run. CHP requested deputies after they arrived on scene, because they determined the victim was intentionally struck by a vehicle.
The victim, later identified as Christopher Garcia, was pronounced deceased by Morongo Valley Fire Department paramedics prior to the arrival of deputies.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail responded to the location and assumed the investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
