SUBJECT: Unattended Death Investigation
LOCATION: 1900 Block of Broadway, Redwood City
DATE/TIME: October 26, 2025 2:30 AM
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Redwood City Police Department received a call for service regarding an unconscious person in the 1900 block of Broadway.
Officers arrived on scene and located a male subject lying in the driveway leading to a sublevel parking structure. The individual was unconscious and had sustained obvious head trauma. Emergency medical personnel responded, but the subject was pronounced deceased at the scene. The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office later took custody of the remains.
The cause and circumstances of the individual’s death remain under investigation. At this time, preliminary findings suggest there is a strong likelihood that the individual fell from the ground level to the lower level of the parking entrance.
