1. Carjacking Arrest (1345) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Airport Way, Park District
The male victim, 19, was in the area in his vehicle when the suspects approached. The suspects assaulted the victim and took his vehicle. Officers located the vehicle in the area and attempted a traffic stop. The suspects fled in the vehicle, and a pursuit ensued. The suspect vehicle was disabled, and one suspect fled on foot. Force was required to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: #1 Javon Frank, 18. #2 Aaliyah De Los Angeles, 18. #3 and #4 juveniles, all for possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting arrest.
