Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to an assault following an investigation.
On October 25, at approximately 8:33 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the unit block of South Bancroft Parkway, in reference to an assault that had occurred. The case was assigned to Detective Avery Stewart of the Criminal Investigations Division.
Through the course of his investigation, Detective Stewart identified 41-year-old Todd Drozdowski as a suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest. On October 28, police located Drozdowski in the area of West 2nd and North Franklin Streets, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Drozdowski has been charged with the following offense:
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
