Join Us at the Election Day Food & Coat Drive — Tuesday, November 4

On Tuesday, November 4, as we head to the polls from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., the Town will be hosting an important community initiative: a Food & Coat Drive to support neighbors in need. Our community has many residents relying on support, especially with SNAP benefits remaining limited—this is our chance to take action together.

Donation Sites (same as polling locations):

  • West Springfield Senior Center – 128 Park Street (Precincts 1 & 2)
  • West Springfield High School – 425 Piper Road (Precincts 3–8)
What to Bring:
  • Non-Perishable Food Items: canned goods, pasta, cereal, rice, peanut butter, soup, etc.
  • New Coats (with tags attached): for children and adults, ready for winter.
Why This Matters: Every item you donate will go directly to the Parish Cupboard to help feed and clothe our community. By combining our act of civic duty (voting) with community care (donations), we strengthen what it means to be West Side Strong.

How to Help:
  1. While you vote, bring along a donation and drop it off at the designated site.
  2. Share this event with friends, family, and neighbors so we can make a big impact together.
  3. If you’d like to volunteer and support the drive during the day, contact: Carly Camossi-LaPalme, COO - [email protected]
Thank you for your generosity and for being a part of this effort to serve our residents in need. Your donation, your time, and your community spirit make a difference.

Best,
Town of West Springfield
