* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, including the following county, Fairfield, northeast New Jersey, including the following counties, Bergen and Hudson, and southeast New York, including the following counties, Bronx, Kings (Brooklyn), New York (Manhattan), Putnam, Queens, Richmond (Staten Island), Rockland and Westchester.

* WHEN...Until 615 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 448 PM EDT, Additional light rainfall is expected this evening, but residual minor flooding may be ongoing due to recent heavy rainfall of 1.5 to 2.5 inches. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jersey City, Jamaica, Yonkers, Stamford, Flatbush, Danbury, New Rochelle, Flushing, Bayonne, White Plains, Mott Haven, Hoboken, East Tremont, Hackensack, Port Chester, Bergenfield, Ossining, Coney Island, Lyndhurst and Rutherford. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
