Dear Pascua Yaqui Community Members,
The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is aware of the current impacts affecting SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits. We want to assure our community that the Tribe is actively monitoring the situation and working to support those affected.
Tribal departments are coordinating closely to share accurate information, provide assistance, and ensure that essential needs are met. We understand how vital these benefits are to our families, elders, and community members. Our priority is to make sure everyone has timely and accurate updates, as well as access to available support services.
Please continue to rely on official Pascua Yaqui Tribe communications for verified information. Updates will be shared through official channels as soon as they become available.
At this time, other programs such as WIC (Women, Infants, and Children), FDPIR (Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations), LFPA (Local Food Purchasing Agreement) and TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) have not been impacted. Benefits for these programs will continue as scheduled for the month of November.
In addition to these programs, a list of local food banks, faith-based organizations, and community partners offering food and household support is available below. We encourage community members who may need additional assistance to reach out to these resources.
