Dear Pascua Yaqui Community Members,

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is closely monitoring the effects of the federal government shutdown on SNAP services. As part of these efforts, the Tribe has new resources available; these resources are designed to help us identify individuals currently receiving SNAP benefits and better understand how we can help.
Beginning today, SNAP recipients can access the following:

• SNAP Resource Hotline: A dedicated phone line for Tribal members to obtain information such as status updates to the SNAP program, as well as information about food pantries, faith-based organizations, and other external resources available.

• SNAP Self-Identification Form: An online form now available through the Tribal Membership Portal, allowing SNAP recipients to self-identify. This form helps Tribal departments understand what resources are needed and to what extent.
  • Individuals who are unable to access the portal or need additional help self-identifying, can call the hotline and self-identify over the phone.
