Dear Pascua Yaqui Community Members,

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is closely monitoring the effects of the federal government shutdown on SNAP services. As part of these efforts, the Tribe has new resources available; these resources are designed to help us identify individuals currently receiving SNAP benefits and better understand how we can help.
Beginning today, SNAP recipients can access the following:
- SNAP Resource Hotline: A dedicated phone line for Tribal members to obtain information such as status updates to the SNAP program, as well as information about food pantries, faith-based organizations, and other external resources available.

- SNAP Self-Identification Form: An online form now available through the Tribal Membership Portal, allowing SNAP recipients to self-identify. This form helps Tribal departments understand what resources are needed and to what extent.
- Individuals who are unable to access the portal or need additional help self-identifying, can call the hotline and self-identify over the phone.
SNAP Recipients will need the following information to fill out the online form or when they call the SNAP Resource Hotline:
- Name
- Address
- Phone Number (Cell)
- Date of Birth
- Pascua Yaqui Enrollment Number
- DES/SNAP Case Number
- Award Amount
- Household Size
The Membership Portal is a way for tribal members to access information such as:
- Information related to the 2025 PYT Constitutional Reform Project
- Department information and online services
- Important tribal announcements, documents and resources
- Tribal Member ONLY content and benefits
Information needed to register for an account in the membership portal:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone Number
- Date of Birth
- Enrollment Number
- Last 4 of Social Security Number
