Gloucester Township Police Media Release- Autumn Ridge Apartments Fire With Several Injuries 11-1-2025
On Saturday, November 1st, at approximately 2:14 AM, Gloucester Township Police Officers were dispatched to 1501 Little Gloucester Road, the Autumn Ridge Apartment Complex, for a report of an apartment fire.
Upon arrival, heavy smoke was observed in the “C” Building. Officers and firefighters commenced evacuating the building. The building houses approximately forty apartments with over one hundred residents. All residents of the “C” Building have been displaced and are receiving assistance from OEM and The Red Cross.
Fire Departments from Gloucester Township, Deptford, Winslow, Washington Township, Lindenwold, Pine Hill, Laurel Springs and Magnolia responded and successfully brought the fire under control at approximately 6:19 AM. At this time, five reported injuries have been sustained, with one victim in critical condition and four others in stable condition. One victim is a firefighter who sustained minor burns and is in stable condition. On-scene treatment and transport were provided by Inspira BLS, Pennsauken, Voorhees, Cherry Hill, Lindenwold, Washington Twp, Gloucester County and Virtua ALS.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshal's Office, the Fire Marshal from the Blackwood Fire Department, and the Gloucester Township Police Department.

Smoke alarms are a crucial component of any fire escape plan. When smoke is detected, it indicates the presence of fire, which can spread rapidly. Working smoke alarms provide early warnings, enabling prompt evacuation.
