Police Continue Seeking Help in Locating Missing Newark Woman
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Nakita Williams, 36, of Newark, who was reported missing on December 18, 2024.
Williams, a Black female, was last seen between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., on Bergen Street between Lyons and Shephard Avenue. She was wearing a long green bubble coat, blue jeans, and black platform slides. Described as 4’11,” Williams weighs 145 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair styled with two pony-tails.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on Williams’ whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
